Buddy needs to know: Is HIS bike GHEY?

Here's the latest question this guy poses to me:
He's 20 something and told me to go for an 1000F or so, So I went BlackBird......................... - Suf Daddy

COMMENT:
Beats me man... but if it has that big windshield it's
gonna look like you're on CHIPS. haha

Hey, at least your ass isn't gonna be sore after
riding it an hour.

Don't think I'm quite ready for one of those yet. How
old are you again?

Steve

I voted "cool if you like the interstate"

At least it has fairings, and *might* be mistaken for a sportbike a couple of miles away.

IMO, there are faaaaaar "gheyer" bikes out there...

Is that the bike that hasn't been updated since it came out in 1985?
I voted over 50. Cause I think that bike was designed before he was born!

I dunno how to vote on this one, I even rode one a few miles once, certainly not my kind of bike, I thought I was driving a buick convertable with the doors taken off.

I guess I have to say

GHEY as Ponch and Jon

It depends on what you want in a bike. It is certainly a fairly good bargain for those looking to do two-up distance sporty-distance touring. Of course, it doesn't register anything on my personal motorcycle passionmeter...but whatever floats his boat. It certainly isn't a pussy bike, just not very exciting IMHO.

The bike hasn't been updated since 1985?

The first year was 1986.

The bike was updated in 1994.

A very good, very versitile machine that can do almost anything. Excellent weather protection, 7 gallon's of fuel, almost 100HP, shaft drive and spacious factory hard luggage make it a machine that's hard to beat. Especially at about $8000.00 new.

I've had two, and both were wonderful machines. And you won't meet a nicer group of people at the Rally's.

As the owner of the apparently "Ghey" (wtf??) bike in question, I'd like to thank everyone who voted, aside from the folks who compared me to Ponch. You can kiss my ass (okay, just kidding, I'm new, take it easy on me....)

For whatever its worth, I figure since I've always had much faster bikes, and was always at the back of the pack anyway, atleast now I can carry some stuff while I bring up the rear.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, and F-Scott Downs!!!!

i think you should FUR it in pink shag.
like the previously displayed pic. Then you can stunt it while bringing up the rear...

even there though, you'll still beat T through the twisties on his bmx, so you wont be bringing up the rear anymore. unless you swing that way.

Welcome!

If anyone has one and thinks it's "ghey", then you can give it to me and I'll smoke you on your old bike. I'd take one of those workhorses as a commuter in a heartbeat.

I dunno why, but I'm a little bitch of a man and I really love ridin big bikes fast. Good thing it's not the same way with women.

LOL...thanks for the welcome....I think..

As for the pink shag, I think I'll pass. As for the stunting, it does an ok wheelie, but I dont think I dont think I have enough balls for a stoppie....too big.....

Saddlebags are big enough for a 24 pack So I at least I can drink after I'm through crying while everyone picks on me.

Actually, I really dont give a fuck what either (any) of you think, I enjoy the damn thing, although I always enjoy watching verbal beatdowns, even if I am the subject.

And yes, perhaps a Miata is next....but at least it wont be my WIFE'S PORSCHE.....fag.
