Was there a trak day today?
I just passed a red ram trailering two sportbikes southbound on 93? There was a green katana and a red honda with the lights all taped up and the mirrors missing?
Was that anyone from here?

Yes there was a Track Day yesterday... run by Penguin Racing School... I was there and man did it suck.... I know the Ram you were talking about too... it was parked at the Red Roof Inn when I got there Sunday Night...

It was my first time on the track... and it was the worst conditions it could possibly be... snow in the am... rain all day... high 30's to low 40's...

But O'well... I took the optional classroom and got the certification to do Thursday and Friday Pratices and do a rookie race and get my license if I so please....

Oops sorry man.... I take it you're not too far from there? I was a miserably dissapointed bitch anyway cause of the weather... I was hoping to get my learn on... but all I could concentrate on was not crashing.... my bike never felt stable in the wet...

My tires may not have helped... although in fine shape... when MOM's put new sneakers on when I bought it they used Continentals... and I've been too cheap to buy new ones until these wore down.... in talking w/ some guys at the track I've been told that in the dry I wouldn't get great grip from them... so I can only imagine how much they sucked on a 40 degree, rainy day....

I'll be picking up some 207's before my next track day....

Snowboarder... thanks It will be a while before I grid up for anything... this was my first time on the track and I never really got going... a few more track days and then some open sessions... and I'll see how I feel... I just felt that doing the classroom time was a better use of my time there since the track was running slow and stuff....

But who knows... I think that card is good for a year... so I have time.....

You could get to my house from there in about 10-15 minutes on bike, or 15-20 minutes in a cage if I told ya the shortcuts. If you could draw a line from the track to my house, we're only about 10 miles apart. In early spring and late fall you can actually hear the bikes from my front yard...
