Considering new bike-need feedback!!

First off, Merry Christmas to all here at NESR! Hope Santa was generous to you!
Now..to the point....Im looking to MAYBE look into a new bike this spring...I currently ride a 97 ZX900R Ninja w/Hindle can. What Im looking at is the 2005 Honda VTX 1800 Sport Cruiser. The VTXs come in 5 different styles and 3 different "set-up" options. Im looking at the "C" model, with the #2 set-up option. Briefly, this combo offers a 2 into 1 exhaust with slash pipe, candy-red flame paint scheme, chrome options such as a chrome radiator frame, aluminum cast wheels, shaft drive, 5 speed box, and other bling-bling touches. I would appreciate any and all feedback from peeps here who have any to pass on to me...personal experience, reviews, stories, etc....no such thing as TOO much info!! Thanks in advance!!!
Heres a looky:

IMO, anything built on the VTX platform is just fat ol' bad-ass. Although the Yami Warrior is too. Have you seen the proto VTX Techno? Fuggin' AYE!

I dunno, honda's are kinda vanilla, too many of them, hey with a Warrier at least it seems to share its muffler with Peterbuilt.

for a riding cruiser (as opposed to piece of art cruiser like a hardley) I'd consider the Montauk.. I think this is it's last year

Yuck! Most BMW's don't do a helluvalot for me. Actually, I like their tourers. But they GOTTA stop trying to break into the cruiser market...

Heres the Techno...Now, why dont they just build and market the VTX in THIS configuration??? Fuck the proto-type thing.....Peeps would JUMP at this, yes? IMHO, they would be light-years ahead of everyone else in the styling dept by offering this, or something very close to it....instead of the VTX as it looks now, which follows more traditional cruiser styling lines....

I'd be ALL over the Techno if it ever made it to the market...

I guess you given up any kind of go fast or is this a 2nd bike.

Most cruisers have never seen the far side of 70 MPH or rain or a bump the only thing worn is the kick stand

buy used so in 100 miles when you say WTF you can get out cheap
