i got a new clutch
i got a new cluuuutch
i got a new clutch...

hehe, the barnett kevlar friction plates, new drive plates and springs are in and adjusted to work. i cant wait to ride it now and find out what a difference it makes. the old friction plates didn't look too bad, but several of the drive plates were burnt and glazed and real ugly.
we got some pics of josh trying to hump the tailpipe, i mean pull the plates from the clutch basket. i need to figure out how to post em.

anyways, thanks JC and Cameron for coming over, it made the whole thing a lot more fun. JC was actually quite helpful, Cam was just modeling and cooking and banging my girl in MY BED!, i guess we needed the moral support.

p.s. dont drink too much when replacing clutch parts otherwise buy lots of extra parts before beginning. silly mistakes become inevitable.

ok i put the images up at this link, cause i wanted to add comments.
anyways, christina got to em first and took the naked ones out. sorry boys. but there are a few good ones of my bike with a naked right side. (cover your eyes)

Stonner, i put the spectro gold in there, just as you recomended.... it took six liters... can you believe it!

now i need to make the final tweaks to the system once i have ridden it around the block and put her plastic back on so no one else gets to see the insides other than a few lucky folks.

Overall the job was a lot easier than i thought it would be. Of course JC's help made the difference.

Somehow our chicken cooker, Cameron managed to avoid the camera. Sorry tehre weren't more pic's but we had oil all over our hands and the digi camera gets upset about that once in a while.

ok. enjoy.

first ride report:

Clutch is fucking awsome!!!!
the front end pulls up much more easily, actually, even accidentally. and i just smoked some stupid new cadillac without a single bit of slippage getting going from a stop. what a dumb ass, i raced him to 65 mph and laid off since we were on 30 mph roads, then he went flying by, a coupla seconds later, with his horn blaring and shit. HAHAHAHA! Fartknocker!

ohwell.

i am gonna get packed and hit the road for a long weekend trip.

Have a good one all, and ride carefully!
