Where do you guys get your OEM parts?

I decided it might be easier to order those clutch lever perch parts from a dealership, since the three parts are less than 20 bucks on RonAyers... any place you guys know of that keep pretty good stock or are quick at getting stuff?

just for shits & giggles, here's the microfiche and they're parts 13091-1624 and 120A (120S 0620)... basically one 1/2 of the clamp that holds the lever to the clip-on and two bolts to keep it in place.

I could get em from RonAyers, but it'd take till mid next week for them to finally get to me... fuckin hell. hopfully it'll be the same price from a dealership

I've dealt with RonAyers.com for OE parts and had favorable results. Their prices are very reasonable, and their communication prompt. However, they of course do not stock all items, and there can be a substantial lead time for those items they must order -- check out their pricing for shipping.

I've also ordered the same parts from my local dealer and got them sooner, and for le$$. No $hipping either, just MA tax.

I use Ron Ayers, or www.partsfish.com

Compare pricng and shipping on everything. Sometime one site is cheaper than the other depending on the part.

I have had good luck with both sites. Ron Ayers is ussually faster for getting things shipped out.

aight, i got it all priced out on RonAyers & they're the cheapest online that i saw. Now i just gotta give a couple dealerships a ring, see what their prices are & see if i can get it from them quicker..... pisses me off missing riding days like we've had this week

Personally, I would suggest touring the city of Boston and finding a similar bike, then stealing the parts you need.

They would be cheapest that way.

Fuckit, i called Honda/Kawasaki in North Reading... they said they'd be there Monday, Tuesday at the latest.... that's 3 days sooner than if i got em online, but 8 bucks more...

RonAyers - $33 shipped
Honda/Kawk N.R. - $41 pick-up.

now i just gotta hope i can swing by there on my way back into Boston from my parents house on Mon & still get to work on time at 2:45 it's gonna be close

Either way, it looks like there's no riding for me this weekend

I've had great luck with Ron Ayers IF I CALL THEM TO PLACE THE ORDER. Internet orders have been 'lost' more than once...

I use Ron Ayers to print out a list of part numbers and prices, then take the list to bettencourt's Honda and they match the prices and have the parts in 2 days.

derek
