New Shoes

Finallly did it. Did a little overtime and finally got her some new shoes this year. The take-offs still have some life so I am gonna rock those a little longer until they are totally spent then burn em off when Jankster gets up here to change em for me .
Went with Avon Azaro AV45/46 ST. They are, obviously by the ST, a Sport Touring tire but rumor has it they stick like hell so I will find out. For those that have riddne with me I don't ride very hard but get a little sporty here and there (*cough* route 17 *cough*)...but I spend a lot of time doing longer rides through the scenic Vermont country and down to NHIS for race weekends. I've always had a hard on for Cooper tires for cages and Avon is owned by Cooper and I've nothing but great things about them.
Southwest Moto for 223 shipped. No complaints

Those are the tires I was looking at for my FZ-1, you'll have to let me know how they work out.

New Shoes

Sorry dude...
I'm currently under contract with Dunlop and am unable to touch any other inferior brand.

But... A little Papa Franks goes a long way!

New Shoes

I got my ne Avons put on today..... my winter Pirellis wernt even round anymore, the left edge was squared at a 45 (with no tread) the center was squared off, no tread, and the right side had tread barely at the edge, I could still see the last row of wear indicators , no cords showin, and they gave the lumpiest ride, I was blaming it on frost heaves and bad suspension, what a difference new tires make.

bike has to go back in shop on friday, for rear wheel bearings and a new battery
