Took the MSF-Basic this past weekend

I wrote up a giant review on the YZF600 board, so here's that if you have 10 minutes to spare:

Stopped by the Epping DMV office yesterday (in and out in 5 minutes, to the DMV in Manchester) and got my license.

For the locals, I took the course at the DMV office in Concord. Decent place, but they need to turn on the AC on the weekends.

Congrats and nice right up. Keep in mind though that there is no substitute for street time. The course is great but I would still take it easy and avoid group rides and anything that might put you in over you head.

A friend of mine took the class a month ago finished 2nd in the class and has logged about 1500mi in the last two weeks got to find out what road rash feels like on sunday when she panic and hit the breaks in a corner. Bike is totalled and she is not sure she wants to ride again. Basically she tried to do to much to fast instead of preparing herself and taking it slow.

Again congrats, and take it easy out there.
