http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/Anyone ever have this problem? Right now there is only 1 (one) streetlight in my town, but 2 more are being installed. Just curious how common is this problem. http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/ [Edited on 6/17/02 by snowborder] |

http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/i've heard you can get as good results by sticking a rare-earth(read: *REALLY STRONG*) magnet on your bike, or touching the center-stand (if you've got one) to the loop in the pavement. bonus points for attaching the magnet to the center-stand, and dropping that. -t |

http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/the best thing to do if there is a problem, is to call the highway dept (town if it is a town maintained light, and the state if it is a state maintained light) normally they adjust the lights to trigger with a bicycle. I have seen lights that don't work for some motorcycles that work for me... steeltoe boots? |

http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/The best thing I've found is to kill the bike and start it again. I read about that in wunna the m/c rags, and it hasn't failed me yet... |

http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/Aren't lights just on timers anyways? I didn't think they actually "detected" anyone sitting there.. |

http://www.greenlighttrigger.com/Some lights are on timers. Others are on sensors...some use loops in the ground while others use little eyes up on the poles to detect the presence of a vehicle. Fucking gay I say, put 'em all on timers. ![]() |
