LEO in a LIVERY plate??!!

Just came down Route 3 from Nashua to Burlington. Minding my own business on four-wheels. A livery plate passes me, I thought it was LEO but I noticed the LV plates, and didn't think of anything even though the car had front bars and a large antenna mounted on the truck deck.

No biggie, right?

I was in the far right lane, doing the speed limit; still slick from the recent rain storm. The livery plate passes me on the left and returns in front of me. Two lanes over, in the left lane comes a clowned-out Honda Civic.

The livery plate takes off into the far left lane and gets close.

Merge onto I-95 and 2 miles in the distance, either Woburn or Burlington the livery plate has the Civic pulled over, lights flashing.

WTF? LEO in livery? It was definately a livery plate. I thought they were exclusively for escorts and taxis???

Actually LEO's used to be able to rock out of state plates, but I noticed around the same timeframe of the US series plates coming out - they now get whatever they dang well please (out of state, LV, US, BM, TC, whatever).

Tricky huh

I've been pulled over with a Fla. plated lumina behind me, but he was still ready to hand out Ma. citations

Interesting. I passed a typical unmarked cop-type car today on the highway with Florida plates. I was in the left lane and slowed down to make sure it wasn't a cop. Saw the FL plate and was about to punch it, then for whatever reason decided to make sure. Glad I didn't just fly by him because it was definetly a cop.

Nah, just means we'll all have to get 20% tint and dress as conservative as possible...then they won't know who is them and who isn't
