WOW !!! for any one who hasn't been there , do whatever you have to do to go there . The riding on almost every road is incredible . nothing like it around here . My first day of riding I did the dragon 9 times and did the cerohala skyway once . I don't know exactly what my total milage was that day , but I think it was about 350 . The skyway is a blast , very fast corners . The dragon was the best , I couldn't stop doing that . My second day of riding I was on the bike by 8:00 a.m. and riding until 8:00 p.m. I did a total of 462 miles that day ,my legs are still sore . I did the dragon 14 times and the skyway twice , plus a lot more . I saw a crash , a woman from canada on a Buell there with her boyfriend or husband . I saw them seconds after she went down . I stopped and went over to help . she turned out to be ok , but I think the bike may have been totalled . THe triple clamp was broken so the forks were just kinda hanging off . I helped the guy get it out of the little ditch it was in after she slid into a tree . I think " killboy" was there in the afternoon , so I might be able to find a pic of me on his site . I never saw a single cop doing radar , I rode past a couple but never a problem . There were mostly harleys and tourers there . A lot of sport bikes though , too . The family had a blast there too . They all want to move there . Hmmm???

and you haven't even discovered but 1 or 2 percent of the roads

all the times I've been there, only seen radar set up in a couple spots, along the srtaights along the river on the north side of the dragon, and on 129 about halfway to Robbinsville there's a straight that has a long cresting verticle curve, and they patrol by air on the cherohala

some people prefer to ride harleys, infact harley riders outnumber kawasaki riders by a long shot, even more people ride kawi cruisers than kawi squid bikes like you

Ya , personally I don't get the attraction to Harleys , but I think you could enjoy those roads on whatever bike you prefer . Even a Kawasaki .
I got behind one guy on a harley making sparks (pegs, pipe??) and he was going slow. One thing I noticed about harley riders there is that even they , wave to ya . Must be more of the biker commaraderie thing going on when you're there .
