Just great...

I just noticed that I have a nail in my rear tire. It is either a very small finish nail or a brad. I have no idea how long it has been in there but the tire pressure has not dropped at all so I should be able to get home without any problems.

I forsee a squidly 6th gear burnout in my future (and a new tire)!

Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker.

Just plug it when you get home..

Or ride over to my place I'll plug it for you and refill it. For a small fee!

Depending on where the plug is it's really not an issue... I have run a few plugs and used up the full life of the tires everytime!

Looks like I'll give the plug a try. The nail just missed being in one of the tread grooves so there should be plenty of rubber for the sealant to bond to.

This might also be an excuse to buy an air compressor because I will have to top off the air when I'm done! I wasn't able to take my air compressor with me when I moved out here last year and you don't realize how important they are until you have to rough it without one.

you could always just bitch about it for a month straight and hope that it will fix itself, like our buddy Pete did at the beginning of this season

I like to use braided plugs with alot of goop, it sounds like a very small hole, so you might get away with a rubber plug. but I'd hate to see it fail at 120 or so
