Talking

I have picked out my new bike!

Well I just got home,

As some of you know I have been bike shopping and the ST kept making the top of the list, So I went to Performance Cycles after work. They had a Blue ST one on the floor and Wow / drool... Sat on it talked about it with the salesman! Buzz is a great guy! We talked for over an hour about all sorts of riding, roads, types of squids that come in to buy R1's Etc... Now the best part of the whole thing......Guess what ?.........

I put a deposit on the next one coming in which is the Silver W/ABS - unsure of Year it will be stamped as, it could very well be an 06 they say!!! Either way I don't care! Very cool if it is! I would be the first or one of the first 06 Owners.. It should be in 1 to 2 weeks tops! They put in the order for it 3 weeks ago, and it ussually takes 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. It is already in port, and possibly on the ship already? They are not 100% sure on that. Once it's on the boat it takes a week to get to the dealership and prepped for the floor, purchase etc.. Buy it will be mine with 0 miles!!!
I also Stopped at the Bank to Question loans. But they do not finance bikes at Citizens??? But I can get a 5 year home equity line of credit with a fixed rate a whole % lower than DCU through the Dealer! 7 days to process though...

SO soon, VERY SOON I will be on this baby!!

Mike

My two options? I think I have choosen wisely with the silver!

Congrats and excellent choice on the color.

That red is somehow wrong, the red on the old Sprint ST was better.

You know what this thread needs? More cowbe.... I mean dancing bananas!

Very sweet new ride!

A 3 week wait hurts! When I got my 12R, I had to leave it at my parents place for a week completely registered before I could have someone drive out with me to pick it up. I was pacing back and forth waiting for the weekend to come! Unfortunately my car was more important for work.

Waiting for delivery does suck, but I want the Silver. I could have rode out with the Blue one tonight... It's worth the wait. I have my RC to ride in it's place for now...

Congrats!! Make sure to keep us posted after you get it. And I think I was offered a test ride...

If I end up gettin one it'll be blue w/o ABS. Think they'll hold the one there for a few months for me?

I don't know what you're talking about I wouldn't be caught dead on those pooftah bikes

Seriously that Sprint looks damn sweet, I think Sprint is a misnomer it looks ready for the long hauls Nice choice on the ABS too, that thing should just eat up the miles rain or shine, and I doubt you'll even lose a step riding with any halfway sane riders, it should have plenty of suspension and ground clearance for all but a suicidal street ride.

NICE bike. That thing will have more than enough power for you!

Is it coming to Z-Gap? If so, I'm takin it for a day while you ride my Z-rex.

The RC is staying for the fun ride days and the track days!

Clay, I am not sure if this will make this Gap trip or not? It would be nice to take both bikes, but thats ridiculous. I dont think I can easily choose between them??? We'll see after I put a few miles on the new ride.
