Jacket/pant ?

I have a leather jacket and a textile jacket. I always wear my leather.

I came across a good deal on some mesh textile riding pants.

Would it be stupid to wear them with my leather jacket?

Thanks

Assuming the mesh pants will protect you more than what you're wearing now, who gives a flying shit what it looks like. I respect other riders who wear full gear (even if I'm not at the time), it doesn't have to match.

would the pants be better than jeans with Icon under armor under them - both legs and hip

What do you have now?

The mesh pants may or may not be better overall then jeans + icon armor, it depends which mesh pants you are talking about.

Any good mesh pant is tougher then jeans. The icon armor may be great but the jeans won't protect your skin.

If you already have the Icon armor you can probably use it with the mesh pants instead of jeans.

thanks for the replies...

i have both leg/hip under armor from icon now.....

They r JR pants and i figured it might be easier to wear the mesh pants and having the armor built into the pant

If you're lucky the armor in the ICON under armor is standard and can just be removed and stuck into the mesh pants. A lot of armor is swappable.

Watch out some of the early joe rocket mesh sure didn't seem as tough as some other mesh products.
