PLEASE READ IF YOU TRAVEL RT 101 THROUGH EPPING

F.Y.I. There was a hydraulic fluid leak today in the eastbound lane of rt 101 by exit #6. They have cleaned up the excess, but this type of fluid soaks in to the pavement and will seep out becoming VERY slippery in the rain. It also takes several weeks to totally go away. It is across both lanes and on a slight uphill & curve.

Just a heads up to those of you headed out that way

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I go Manch > Hampton daily, though today I'm in the cage. I'll take it easy through there on the bike tomorrow.

Oh yes. I also came through it this morning...two words of advice: LEFT LANE! The right got the brunt of it...and that's where I was. It goes on for about 1/8th mile, and I was stuck staring at the dry left lane. That is a shitload of whatever...

On my way home yesterday there was quite a backup over there as they must have been cleaning it up still.

That accident happen about 3 mintues before I passed it yesterday morning. The friggn engine was sticking out the bottom of the 16 wheeler. I was slo enough to see gears and misc. pieces ont he side of the road abou t100 feet before the truck. there was 4 cars pulled over with damage from flying parts. I was glad I took the truck that morning!
