i need advice kids...

here is the deal.

my rear tire is SPENT. Otherwise, my bike all fixed. I was about to get a new set of tires before i crashed. I'm not supposed to be riding for awhile, but we all know that isn't really gonna happen. I have no intention of doing any "real" riding anytime. mostlly gonna ride to school, perhaps to visit parents, and maybe some really short rides on homework breaks. However, i need a rear tire ASAP. I'm kinda broke and wanna get something as cheap as i can to get me through the last bit of this season. come spring I'm gonna get Pilots (front and back).

All this being said, any advice on what I should get?

I've got a set of OE take-offs from my 'o2 R1 you can have. They're not new, but they've got plenty of meat left on them. They're in Springfield if you want them.

I have a set of Michelin Pilot Power Race take offs. 50.00 for the set. They are more than fine for the street. Make sure you give them 3 or 4 miles to warm up but fine other wise. 50.00 for the set.

I have a stock rear tire from a cbr600 F4i with about 600 miles on it. Looks new. $50 installed on your rim.

ugh. I was at a going-a-way party for Rikard that night (going to London with work for awhile). As he and a few other people at the event are on NESR and have ridden with people here, I tried to get them to "go crash Pete's party". However, the momentum never materialized. lame. and yes, i need the tire. what size is it?

180/55/17. Not stock size but it'll fit just fine.
