You guys do alot of racing up at loudon?

I just got my first real track bike and hopefully will be doing alot of racing this year. When I saw Nazo had has location as revere (the next town over from me) it was cool to see a fellow racer so close.

There are a ton of people racing on this site and we're all pretty hardcore about it. Haven't you been around here for a while? We pretty much take over a huge section of the infield when we head to the track for the weekned.

I been around here for a while but I didnt really get the idea of racing until the end of this riding season when I did an open trakc day. It was sick. Now I got a nice track bike and I am ready to start it up for real this year.

See since I am new to racing finding people in the area around me to maybe give me some help with the whole thing would be good to get me off and going racing.

I'll be over at nazo's most of next week working on our bikes, since I have the week off. I don't live to far from there either. If you need help with stuff let us know, or if you want to sit around and watch some GP races or whatever. New guy brings the beer or the vodka and olives.

Well beginning of the summer last year I picked up the NESR frankenbike used it for one open track session and then sold it to another member on this board.

I now have a 2000 r6 that I bought off Gary Abate, used to be Snakey Petes bike before Gary. Came with all the good aftermarket stuff I was looking for.

Im still waiting on some stuff to be really ready. I think Im gettin a race suit for xmas or at least cash toward it other than thaty some nice gloves and a back protector.

So when you guys go to loudon how do you do it? Do you do the friday practice lap and then the saturday race. I cant see paying 250 for each penguin day.

Friday Penguin 1/2 practice is - $70

Some of us get up there for Friday, some don't. Really depends on what you can manage as far as time. I made it up to I think 3 Friday sessions. One of my buddies takes a halfday at work sometimes. (The Friday sessions don't start till around 2 or 3pm).

There are alot of questions and things to learn about how it works up at Loudon. Check out the "Pit Area" section on this forum, or just come out and buy drinks for us one night and we'll answer all your questions
