suspension settings??

I know I might get ripped a new one for this thread but I gotta ask. How do you know how to set your suspension for a track day?? How do you take your weight into account? For the beginner track day goer, is it neccesary to worry about the forks or is it just a rear shock thing? Any advice / websites / knowledge and wisdom on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

DUCK & COVER!!!

http://www.sportrider.com/tech/suspension/ here's a good link for ya if ya wanna git yer learn on.

Another option is to give Peter Kates a ring, he'll do your clicker settings for free (ie, for a donation to the injured rider's fund)... I think he's planning on coming to most of the Tony's Trackdays this season so he can do it right there at the track for ya. He was at the last one or two this past season & I heard alot of people saying "WOW, man, did that help!"... just a few simple clicks can make a world of difference, especially if it's not setup properly.

suspension settings??

i think you should leave it alone and worry about tires and pressure first then have someone help you make adjustments while you are there. remember with suspension a little goes a long way

Bring it to Peter (GMD Boston) and have your forks reworked and set up. It will make it feel like a new bike and he is super reasonable in price.
