PLastics or leathers?

Ok ,,heres the dilemma. I've been waiting to order a 2 piece suit from A-stars but I'm starting to wonder if I should get a set of track plastics on ebay instead and get track pants that I can zip to a joe rocket mesh/ padded jacket.. ANy advice/ thoughts?? I read somewhere its better not to skimp out on getting a good set of track leathers for obvious reasons, But in the event I were to eat pavement, I really don;t want to mack up my good plastics.. What do guys think>>???

As everyone says...dress for the crash. Buy the gear first then stay on ebay and pick up some cheap plastics but you will see the majority of people here, including myself, keep our stock plastics on.

New plastic = $2000?
Medical costs after crash in crappy gear = Sky is the limit.
Avoiding injury = priceless.

PLastics or leathers?

what's more important to you... your skin or your bike's plastics? Which one is worth more money? I hardly see the dilema

U already said you got a right side fairing on ebay for like 5 bucks... I say buy the leathers & keep searchin ebay for rashed bodywork.
