chest/back protector

is there such a thing as a chest AND back protector.
I want to look for something that would be suitable for track days and race schools, and also protect my perpetually sore rib so i dont hurt it again the next time i screw up on a dirtbike and take the handlebars in the chest.

Have you checkd out the alpinestars gear, the guys got Dan one for x-mas and it protect your back and kidneys.
