Hard day at work today..

Sucks getting paid to go home and work on your own bike.. but someone has to do it

The biggest thing today that I have been putting off for a couple years now I finaly serviced the forks on the R7 with the help of the local dealer. I pulled them off the bike myself and brought them over, I still have to install them maybe in a little while... after the Dukes Of Hazzard is over.
Also finally was able to pick up the Raptor after some warranty work

Next, I decided to try and whip up a fender eliminator for the R6. I got the pad and paper out, took some measuremnts and drew up a templet. A little help from a band saw and some 1/16" plate aluminum and I'm somewhat satisfied with the results. It looks a lot better than the stocker anyways

There is no R and no 7 on that plate Rhode Island has some crazy thing with vanity plates for bikes where you need 3 letters 1st, then numbers if you want them. I've had that plate sence 1997 and got it for a YZF 1000 I had at the time, long before the R7 came out I wanted OW-02 for the R7 but they wouldn't let me get that one

The eliminator looks really nice. Can you put up a side view pic? Also have you thought about relocation for it, as in deeper under the tail? I know thats a much bigger project to drill new holes and fill the originals though.
