sooo... my new bike is too quiet and i want some of them there fancy exhaust systems. im looking for dual highmount that keep the pass pegs and would like it in black/carbon.
ive found 3 companies so far... well.. one is in the UK (renegade) and its $1300+ so i guess 2.

holeshot and devil.. the devil can be purchased from one of our friends on the board for $730 ish and the retail of the holeshot is the same. any opinions? or other companies to look at. its an 03 SV1KS

Devil pipes are ussualy louder than tolerable pipes, depents on the bike though. Not as bad as D&D though!

They look great, but I always like to hear what other people are saying about a product before I buy it so I know what I'm getting into.

i used to see alot of Holeshot in AZ.. not as much here, but i have heard of them. the high pipe is new this year for them (usually just bolt ons) and they are shorter and smaller than the Devil pipes. i like the devils and the carbon but ive had personal experience with the satin finish pipes from Holeshot (my D&D had the same finish) and they are nice and easy to clean

except for the looks... Not my style, that thing is HUGE & you are definately losing power. Being an SV650 you dont want to lose more hp than stock engine produces...
Great job on the fab work though! looks professionaly done.

I have a power comander too. The bike runs well but I've always wondered about HP loss. I can't tell.

Dyno before and after the mod is the only answer.
I bet there is not an exsisting map for that pipe matched to your bike though!!! Try a few different maps and see what has a good power band running through the gears. Any without dead spots will be an improvement.

There just might be a map that could work with that pipe, but I seriously dought it...
