I think I found it!!

I have been wanting a new bike and wanted to wait to see what Honda would come out with for a new model or revision to previous models.

Well If this does go into production and becomes available in the US I am all over it! I didn't find a whole lot when I did a google search, so it's either all hipe or Honda is doing an excellent job keeping this under wraps.

A nice cross breed of a VFR/1000RR and a big ole honkin 1200 V-Twin motor baby!!!!! Most likely workks of a 1000cc VFR is going to happen for honda. But mt fingers are crossed for this baby below!

Oh my..

Beefed up Superhawk (which I used to own and loved..)

USD forks. Big swingarm. 1200 motor... RR styling mixed with VTR.. oh yes..

Why do you keep saying VFR? That's nothing like a VFR. VFR's are V4's and all about the Tour. That pic is of a VTR1000F smushed into a CBR1000RR.

That doesn't look like a honda design to me... Don't hold your breath. I think they will come out with a 1200 twin though, as Ducati is replacing the 999 with a 1200. Honda will steal their thunder I'm sure.

That wouls be so badass. I'd trade my bike in for it in a second. That just looks like a photoshop mix of an RR/superhawk, though. I mostly noticed the side fairing and the engine cover/exhaust. Exactly the same as my superhawk. The Aprillia/RC51 duct in the front is pretty cool, though. Someone should build it.

That would be a nice combination. I liked the Superhawk, but the handling and suspension wasn't quite up to my standards. These days, even mid-shelf bikes are coming with decent suspension, so it will likely be an even better bike.

If they have found a way to stiffen the chassis and prevent that wallowing, mushy feel they used to have I'd be interested for sure. Mine used to blob its way around corners. I never knew how bad it was until I bought my Aprilia.

I like the radial mounted calipers and the new swing arm could be helpful with geometry for turn in and letting the bike hold its line mid-corner.

If that bike is ever produced, I'll own one. I loved the Super Hawk 996.

USD forks and that swingarm should go a long way to curing the wallow.

Honda should put better triple clamps on the bike. I was stunned at how cheesy the pressed triples on even sporting hondas are... I know some flex is good, but those were like paper. Maybe they are better now...

I was looking at the superhawk too when thinking of switching to a twin but I did not like the the styling.

Even a s photoshop that does look pretty good indeed.

Man I can't wait for the new twins coming out Ducati/Aprilia/KTM and now apparently Honda (specially if they actually do go to 1200cc).

Cool

my 98 super hawk 996

Hi about a month ago I picked up a 98 super hawk 996.i love riding the hawk. It has solid power through all six gears. I'm ordering new bar ends in the hopes that will help with the numb right hand.
The only add on to the bike that I know of is the eron racing cans ( which by the way sound way cool ). the bike only had 8500 miles on it. I have all ready put 1000 miles on it in less than a month. How ever I'm looking for some advice on how to get rid of the vibration in the foot pegs.
I was riding with a friend ( which had a honda cbr 600 ) his bike is very fast. He passed me doing 130 mph, I was doing 115 mph in 5th gear. I down shifted to 4th and passed him doing 175 mph with more rpms to go. I had to look twice at the speed I was going for i did not know the bike had that much top end.
I have never been on a bike that has so much torq and power. I love this bike. At 85 mph my rpms are at 4300.
How ever at about 117 to 120 miles the fuel light comes on then I'm looking for my next fuel stop. I read in a forum that there was a easy fix. but they never said what the fix is.
One last thing I'm having some problems with finding any kind of bolt ons or mods for the 996, if I could get some tips on where to look that would be great.

Jimmy

Best bolt on mod ever for any bike is an upgradable rider. Come up to the track where you can learn WHILE going fast

175! your going to need those bar end weights. buy the ceramic ones. They are less prone to heat up when your are reaching mach
