I have Gaerne's G-RS boots. Feel good, comphy to race in but the buckles suck. They don't stay buckled quite often including when I crashed. I may swap to different brand boots.

That sucks that they didn't stay buckled.

I have a problem finding boots that fit because I have big 13's and from the extra hardware in the ankles. .
The alpinestars in a size 49 seem to fit ok. I just need to find a place with them in stock.
Thanks,
Nathan

Brockton Cycle used to carry SIDI in stock... but I haven't been there in a couple of years... so I don't know if they still have them.

Bikeworx in Acton/Maynard carries SIDI.

One thing... I found that SIDI are narrower than Alpinestars... by quite a bit.

Good to know, I have narrow ankles, and I have to really crank down my SMX+'s to have them snug on my ankles, but the length is good.

Try Seacost cycles in Derry on Rt 28 near the Windham line. It's where I brought mine.

Yes Sidi run a little narrower. I have a 10.5D foot and I am very happy with my Strada Evo Tepor(waterproof) size 45. I just did a 1100 mile ride last wekend and never thought about them once.

A little warm on hot days, may have to get the vented model someday.

Check out Newenough for some more info.

Happy hunting

I also bought my Sidis at Seacoast Sport Cycle in Derry. Can't say if they still carry them because I bought mine in late 2004 and haven't looked at their boot selection since.
