Hey guys,

What are your thoughts about a Stage 1 jet kit?

Can it be easily installed or should I have a shop do it?

Would it really do anything for my setup?

no wait, before i say anything like that... is it really fuel injeted? Or is that crazy like hybrid type system with the fuel injected system feeding some constant velocity carb thingy???

ahhh. Based on that reply I am assuming jets are only for carbed engines.

My bike knowledge equals the size of a finger nail. Someone had mentioned to me that I should rejet my bike so i thought I would throw it out to you guys. Better you guys then getting laughed at when I went to the shop.

Yes, correct Fuel Injection = no jet kit. Power commander takes care of that.

Did you have a chance to alter your map. Also, I forgot to ask if you are using the correct map for your GSXR and exhaust.

O and yes its fuel injected.

no its true fuel injection. jets will not help you.


but i do have some carbon fiber muffler bearings for sale. they wont work in the falco cause they aren't red.

The simple answer Jeff, is that if your bike has the Power Commander in it (PCIII), you use that to alter your fuel mixture settings, among other things...

Sounds like the person that told you to get a jet kit knows less than you do about bikes...
