Which SIDI boots

Which if these two SIDI boots would YOU buy?

Sidi Strada Tepor Evo Boots

or

Sidi B-2 Boots

I'm more of a street rider and probably don't have any intention of doing track time.

Well did you read "Paul's Comments"? Seems to me he does a good job describing the differences between the two and that's more helpful than I could be on the subject.

Which SIDI boots

How's this for reviving an older thread. I asked the question months ago and I finally put up the dough and bought a pair of the Sidi B-2.

The deciding factor was when I finally ordered a pair of leather pants. When I tried putting my Icon Field Armor boots on over the pants, the zipper wouldn't go over the pants too well and I finally ended up popping one of the zippers.

So, after throwing the boot across the room, and fixing the zipper, in case I felt like using them later (probably not) I ordered the Sidi boots.

So, now I'm covered from head to toe when I ride. The pants were a great deal. I picked up a pair of Fieldsheer Sport Air pants from Sandhills Power Sports. Ratail $250, I got them for $163, shipped. They only have 2 sizes left, 30 and 36. Here's the link: Fieldsheer Sport Air Leather Pants > Pants > Closeouts > Street > SandhillsPowersports.com

If you're talking about the pants, they're perforated, so I imagine as comfortable as perforated leather pants can be in hot weather, which is uncomfortable.

I'd go with B-2's with the choices you have. I was looking at these as well. But....I picked up a pair of Oxtar TCS's from motorcyclecloseouts for $129 ( I think ).And they are a great set of comfy riding boots.

Sidi B2's.
I just got a pair of Cortech HRX Pants from IMotorcycle Store for about the same price as those Fieldsheer and there like three pairs of pants in one. They come with a quilt lining for the cold, then a thin nylon liner for the rain and with no lining there mesh and leather for the hot day's...great deal and they fit and feel great. They also have cloth on the knees for knee slider's which are sold seperately of course.

I normally wear a 34 in jeans, and 36 in khakis and I ordered the 36 and they fit like a glove.

This is the first pair of leather pants I've ever owned and they're quite the experience to get on/off. Once they're on, they're on.

I did end up getting the B-2 boots and believe it or not, I ended up finding them cheaper than on newenough. I got them at metricbikes.com. Newenough had them for $220, metricbikes for $200.

B-2's are nice boots. They're basically the street version of the Vertebrae Corsa which I wear except you can get 2 pairs of B-2's for the price of the V-Corsa. Sidi boots rock! Great comfort and their protection is top notch.

No problem Chuck.

BTW, I bought my jacket from metric bikes. They have very good prices, but their shipping sucked. I waited almost 3 weeks until my jacket arrived. Hopefully that's not a case for you.

It's not a big deal, since it's still early in the season and I still have the Icon boots as a backup plan. Anyway, the bike's at GMD for some much needed maintenance.

Woot! The B-2s arrived today. It took 13 days from the day I ordered until I got them today.

That's not actually that bad. It just seemed like it.
