So I've been commuting daily from Worcester to Westborough and this is where I've seen them:

Worcester
-in front of white city pizza/dunkin donuts: cop in the parking lot

Westborough/Shrewsbury
-route 290 Westbound; right AFTER the 140 ramp, while heading down the hill, there's usually 2-3 cops (sometimes on motorcycles) waiting with a radar gun to catch people going fast down the hill...I see them there maybe 85% of the time
-right AFTER you pass route 20, on the right, before Lexus of Northborough, is a small gravel parking lot that used to sell pools...the cop will sit there
-at the intersection where target/wal-mart is
-at the intersection to speedway plaza
-at the small shop NEXT to R.G. Shakours - I've seen cops parked, with their lights OFF, facing route 9 eastbound, waiting to bag people. My guess is the cop sitting near Lexus of Northborough will radio ahead, but in any case, this cop is hard to see because he's sitting in the dark.

I live in Westborough and I see them sit in the Shell gas station all the time. It's the intersection that has the Shell, Mobile, BK and Blockbuster. They also sit in a small area of grass just before the underpass for Computer Dr., after the Jeep dealership. Don't know if you mentioned the parking lot after the Lowe's but the y sit there too. Those are all heading east.
On the west bound sde, they sit at the top of the hill just before the underpass for Computer Dr. Also in the parking lot after the Rt.30 exit (at the Naked Fish).

They also sit on this side street as you get to the top of the hill after passing Lowes/exits on the eastbound side. It is some sort of side street (not sure if you were talking about that Bhavesh) between buildings and they sit further back.

I passed one this morning before the Lexus dealer...good thing I was not speeding.
