That's what I'm hoping for. I'm not 100% sure it will work in the way I described and I'm not sure if it will even give me a noticable change in handling for better or worse.

I do know that I'm excited to try it out!

in theory it sounds like it would work, but if joes rim is not the same width as yours he might not have that problem, another aspect you need to look at is how much higher or lower of a profile you would be looking at. if it is signifegant you start to change top speed or low end. but i dont think a 50-55 is that much of a difference

back on subject, how much will these tires run us all and when are we ordering?

The 2CT 190/50 is on b/o with Michelin right now. The 190/55 is not due until January.

If you want a Power Race, I do have those rears in 190/55, too.

you say back order? could I still put in for them, i won't need them til next april or so..

Another question for the Tire Guru's : I have power races on my bike now, my rear is done and my front is in really good shape, i have heard people like to run race on the front and pilots on the rear, is this more of a track benifit and would not really benefit me on the street? or would this work out good on the street too, i know that I loved the power race on the dry warm days, they stuck like GLUE, but my concern is wet/cold traction, i mean i don't intentionaly ride in the rain, but i do ride in the cold, and I do get caught in the rain from time to time, So my question is, would i be better off to go with the pilots front and back, or just put a new pilot on the rear and get the rest of the miles outa my front Power Race?

I know they are not available yet but I would like to hear the price of the 2CT in 190/55. Once they are available I'll place an order for both a 120/70 & a 190/55 2CT.

Race tires suck in both rain and cold. Street tires front and back are your best bet for all weather conditions.

<- This is what happens with race tires + 50 degree weather.

Any idea on the price yet?
What I'd be looking for is a set of PP 120/70/17 & 190/50/17.

Currently, You need to take off the quote tags so it can be quoted and added to. You can't quote a quote inside a quote.

Did I mention anything about a quote? I think I did but don't quote me on that.
