Ok so I did a trade with my buddy Jeremie a few months back...The deal was he got my Brand new GSXR1000 for 3 days and I got his 350hp turbo Eclipse for 3 days. I let this happen because he just sold his 04 Gsxr750 and I know he can ride good.. Anyway after picking the Eclipse up, Out of respect I gave it a nice cleaning, Inside and out! Then I fixed the wireing in the stereo system and replaced some plastic under the Car stereos head unit..It was good to have the car so I could take Serena(girlfriend) out to eat and other places.. So on day 3 when I brought the car back to grab my bike.. I told him I fixed the stereo and gave it a clean exc..He said thanks and I went over to my bike to check it out. immediately I see scuff marks on the back right tail, Then I see scuff marks all over the plastic on the right side, all at the same height ! So I ask him what happend.. he says "Oh dude i didnt do that, I dont know what happend to it" 4 days later im at his friend Marshalls house( who I dont know that well) and He tell's me A "Funny" story about Jeremie borrowing some kids new Gsxr1000..He tells me they went out to the bar and jeremie took the Gsxr, Well I guess Jeremie got blackout drunk and they put the bike in the back of his truck but they didnt have any straps so they just put out the kickstand and hoped for the best! They almost made it the whole way back untill the turn into the driveway, Then the bike fell over in the back of the truck! Can you belive that shit! I was bullshit...What you guys think I should do??

Ya Im with this. A beating and then get that car for a weekend. If he doesnt want to pay for the damages when you have the car light it up a few times and see if it really has 350 horses or if its just a bunch of bs.

I don't know what you could put a mechanics lien on for, a mechanic lien is for not payment of services rendered, for installing the stereo ?

I doubt his insurance covers damages to your vehicle


Ask him to pay for damages, if he doesn't then court

If he pays without any actions on your part other than first asking he pay, then I'd let it go, lesson learned,

other than that, don't be afraid to let other people know who he is and what he did, some other people may think he's a "friend" too

I already told him he would have to pay for it and he said "not a problem" but its been 3 weeks now of me yellin at that bitch to fix the paint and still nothing..I think im just going to tell all my/his friends what a dipshit he is, So he hears it from everyone and pays up! Everyone missed the most important point...

He let the kid ride his bike when he wasn't there to witness it.

The only way I'd ever let someone ride my bike is if he allowed me to ride his and we rode at the same time. (given that I knew his riding skills in advance)

After hearing about the Brockton thing though, I don't know if common sense would come into play here.

I got nothing on that one...After not leting anyone ride my 636 for 2yrs and I finaly let someone use my bike after I buy a new one..I know it was stupid and I do regret it but I realy wanted to bring my girlfriend out in a car for once insted of having her on the back of my bike because I didnt have a car all summer.. But on the common sense note I have to say this..(For the last time hopefuly) Bobby and joey were the one's Riding wheelies next to cars and being idiots..I only did 3 passes and I made sure the cars were not next to me and were far far infront of me. Plus when I feel im not in complete controll I put the front tire down..Plus that whole thing was pretty dumb of us in the first place... No need to bring that up ever again. Thanks -Boss Hogg
