new rearsets and chain adjusters. You can see the camera in this pic too.

Taking it to Pete soon to get a new Penske shock and rework the forks. New chain and a good cleaning on the way. Hopefully a couple of trackdays in 07 coming as well.

Looks good. The gilles rearsets are nice. However they do have a flaw. Replace the bolts that attach the pegs to the I guess the adjustment frame. Not sure what you would call that part. Anyway those bolts are very very soft and the heads strip easy. I learned the hard way and once they are stripped they are a bitch to get out. So before you run into the problem like I did go out and get some chrome ones at a hardware store. They a much harder then the stainless ones they give

The rest of the stuff looks great. I know a few people that had those gilles adjusters and loved them.

They are Forged Aluminum made by Carrozzeria. $1250 W/ the rear sprocket. It uses a ZX-10 sprocket. They come in Black, Gold, Blue, Clear anno and Powercoated White.

The thing I have to find out is why the front and rear don't match. I kind of like it but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the tip Union.

Anytime. Just trying to save you the headache I had with those bolts. Other then that they are a great rearset and Ive been very happy with mine.

As for the wheel color. Is the black annodized? I have a friend that bought a set of gold ones and he was very unhappy with the quality of the color. Apparently they missed huge spots on the wheels with the gold. Im looking into getting these wheels as well if I can come up with the money. Not sure which color but probably black like you have. Id like to get a look at them one of these days it might help me make up my mind

Those are some nice goodies but that chain looks like it is hurting! Could just be the pic though.

Yea they are anno. They have improved their quality dramaticly over the past year. They look really good imo. Hopefully I'll get them mounted over the weekend and will have the bike back together in time for another ride or two. I'm waiting on the new chain and front sprocket ot come in. I made the spacer I needed for the BPD QS$ quickshifter so the rearsets are on and ready to go.

If you need a hand let me know. I have plenty of time during the week usually.

+1

I'm doing a few little mods over the winter, but the big stuff (shock oil change, valve clearances, etc...) are going to have to wait until spring for Peter to do them.

Thanks guys. Rims and tires are mounted thanks to Peter. He stayed late on a Friday night. The tires were a bitch to get on the rims for some reason. Got my chain and front sprocket in today. I'll be putting them on this week. Brakes lines & MC will get done while at Pete's on the 2nd week in Dec. Custom map will hopfully get done in the next 2-3 weeks(If the weather holds up).

I'll have some better/updated pics later on this week.

From the looks of them, they will match once you get the rotors on.

Actually, the front has 5 sets of "spokes" and the rear has 6. I think it looks fine. You probably won't notice once they're mounted on the bike.

Is that polished? Or is that the reflection from the flash? Hard to tell.
