Anyone store (winter) their bike inside apartment?

As crazy as it may sound, but I'm seriously considering to put my bike into apartment during winter months. I could store it in one of the wearhouses at work, but I want to have it close to me so I can do upgrades and stuff when I get bored over the winter. Besides, I'll know it won't get damaged by some co-worker possibly trying to check it out, sit on it out of curiosity. So, do anybody store their bike inside apartment?

I stored mine in a second floor apartment living room and painted it in the kitchen in my more un-wifed days

I keep my Kx in the house yr. round, to ward off thieves.. Only prob. i see , is if your house burns down , you MAY NOT be covered insurance wise._____5TOEZ_____
