I've read lots of stuff about prior Honda 600RRs being heavy and slow handling.

Poorly suspended, lethargic engine, lack of feel in the front, no slipper clutch, etc.

That said I have an 05 model. I like it. I had to drop the front 6mm to get any kind of sharp handling . Before this its was a little slow turning for my taste.

But know what you mean. I'm sure alot of journalists are coached to not piss off the sponsors with some ill written words about a certain new bike, lest they lose a bunch of ad revenue. But take a look at Road Racing World. The 06 CBR RR pretty much came in last, in last years comparo.

It's on 07, it can't possibly be anything but 1000x better then the 06, otherwise all the squids/posers wouldn't go out and trade their 06s in.

I mean geez how could he not praise it to high heaven! That's the way the motorcycle industry works!
