It would be really cool if they matched that cool paint job with some real R&D and gave the VFR at technological make over. ABS and VTEC dont get me really excited.

I say make it 800cc in tribute to the moto gp spec and make run with serious 600 race replica handling but make so that you can ride it all day and be comfortable.

Then they might even sell a few of em.

IMO i think the vtec on a bike is stupid

vtec is for a car so you get good mileage (i love my 3.0 cl) but for a bike just use the hotter cam and move on

they are 800's already.

having had an 04 i can say from expirence that the v-tec sucks. the bike is over weight aswell.

i like the looks and that paint job is awesome! now just lose the v-tec make it a v4 1000 with about 130hp at the rear tire and lose 100 pounds.

The thing is, Honda has, at this point in time, given up on the street legal race replica V4. So what they have done is cost effective, while still celebrating the V4. Who knows, with the GP800 being a V4 now, maybe Honda will give the Interceptor a real re-birth in a little time. Stay tuned folks! Same Bat Channel, same Bat Time!! {Chuckle}

Yah very strong rumors they are killing the bike at the end of the year.

I don't think it's even a debated item over at vfrdiscussion.com any longer.

This is just a last ditch paint job thingamajigie for fans.

They need to come out with SOMETHING to get some cool back.. Honda is just so cookie-cutter these days.

Bunch of haters....

I still love my 02' VFR... if it's too heavy for ya Sally do some pushups or something!!!!

Personally I think the 07' looks sweet... I had an 83' VF750F that it reminds me of...

I don't know why people think these bike companys should put motogp technology into sport touring bikes. They don't put indycar engines in minivans.

I don't really like the paint job.
