I'm guessing around 7k+ between my old and new bike. I like how RandyO is high mark.

Around 5500 which is about 2k less than what I was hoping for.

This year though I went for more quality vs. quantity. 400 miles of track > 4000 miles of riding down I95

the bike and I saw 6500 this season.......3000 of that two up with the wife. We love that CT loop and the loop to Amherst

the season is far from over though ..... I am trailering the bike to Cali on the 29th just tryout the twistys on the west coast. probly stop in vegas for a day then up to laguna seca just for the &^%$ of it. then off to the coast down to long beach to say hi to jesse james.

everything is on course if I can get the trailer regi'd.

has anyone done something like this b4? if so some Do's and Dont's suggestions are welcome thanks

Couple thousand on the Rex, another couple on the KLR, then I started racing. That put a dent in my enjoyable riding time. Stupid racing!

did about ;

8k on the duc (while i was commuting on it)
4k on the sv (since aug)

But then i've only done maybe 500mi on the sv since i took the penguin class. Duc is going to get put away in Steve's garage sometime this week, but i'm keeping the SV "prepped" for those freakish-ly warm winter days (just in case...you never know)

I assume I came in just shy of 7K....not having a job for the majority of the summer sucked - I got to look at my bike and couldn't afford to feed her! Next year I will be better....at least I'll plop down the highway to go to school and such.....

I'm pretty sure I went over the 2,000 mark but my riding season was cut short because of my accident back in August. Took me about 1 1/2 months before getting back on the bike.

I think I put on about 7k this year.

My old job sucked and about the only riding I did for most of the year was back and forth to work and maybe up to bike night to hang out. I bet about 90% of my riding this year was on 128.

I had 3 big "fun" rides.

1) Day Ride to VT when I called in sick after work called and I couldn't make a group ride. (Happened plenty)

2) Ride in September to meet up with some people down in the NYC area, we hit up a lot of cool places in Southern NY that I had never seen. That was like a 500 mile day. I got called at Lunch during the group ride by one of the VPs and had to work a customer issue during the lunch! That was the final straw I think I was interviewing the next week!

3) Trip to VT in October.

I didn't ride more then 2-3 times in November and December.

I rode today.. the way this non-winter is going I may start riding more again. I think I've decided I could care less about flat spotting my tires riding to my new job. They're just tires.

I did my brakes/clutch and so on and so forth this year and swapped pipes. That was fun that I managed to squeeze in while being on call for work.
