my winter project


so i started today tearing down the fizza so i could get the forks off, but thats just the begining

it starts


fairing gone



tank and forks off

You had to pull the entire triple off to get the forks off or are you doing something else?

rear view camera, brembo master cylinder, heated grips, heated seat with more cushion and upholstered, stainless lines, better pads (not sure what type) forks gold valved with new springs, penske shock, new paint (house of kolors) new pegs, r1 carbs (there 3mm bigger) and gunna try to put the exhaust under tail

but its fun

i could buy a new R1 and it would be worth more but i like the saying built not bought

so yes i am nuts and i will never get back what i put in but it will be custom and mean alot more to me

some clown put a damn sticker on my forks


this is what i went for



gonna port the boots while at it (5hp on the top end gain)



and finally making some carbon fiber tid bits

yeah i got pointed in the wright direction on the slidders

i thought if a little slider sticking out was good than alot sticking out was better

How will those clipons work below the upper clamp like that with your fairings? You check it all for clearance yet? Also, thinkin of doing anything with the rearsets? Ergos might be a bit awkward with the bars that low and the pegs still set forward

havent yet checked the fairing clearances and i think the rear sets should be fine, and if not it will have to wait cause my budget can't afford another 4-5 hundred

ti bars? sorry i dont know what those are im getting rid of the low rise bars i had, the stock ones are already gone. and finally im using clip-ons and taking out the risers

Hey,
I drove over the Hill on my way home from Auburn. Instead of taking Shrewsbury St. I went to Rte 9.

I want to see the Ported Boots. I assume your gouging them out with a Dremmel?

Your really going to like Ivan's Kit........So smooooth on acel and decel. It just pulls and pulls.......and keeps pulling until you shift. I have a Carb Sync if you need one.

well if you got of the highway on 9 you were looking at my house

ill let you know when there done so you can check em out (just gotta polish em)

and i got dale's kit, not ivans. so we'll have to try each other bike's. you got ivans kit with the yoshi full system and gmd forks with the penske out back. ill have the holeshot pod kit, full system, and gmd magic
