So there is a (relatively) simple way of putting on pegs on this bike.

With a some metal modification to the pegs, you can mount them with the rear axle going through them, so they tigthen when you tigthen the axle. The only major problem is you have to lose the stock chain slack adjusters because the axle isn't long enough to thread.

I got the Bell "rail riders" pegs from Wal-Mart for $8.

FYI: shifting your weight back helps get the bike up, but it doesn't help you find the BP.

Got mine running and riding today.

Two wheel slides through wet leaves on top of wet grass Foot down and everything!

Running lean though, gotta be slow with the throttle and it doesn't like WOT. Already cleaned the carb so I may change the needle settings and then timing.

These things are FUN!!!

awesome...fun toy, eh?

and it's really small and simple so it doesn't take too much to work on it (ie. an oil change required 0.9 quarts).

let's see some pics!!

I'd go with timing.

Almost took some pics of me and my buddy doing "wicked sweet jumps" on it today. All the grass was icy so it made for some mint foot-down flat track style riding with the bald rear tire. SO MUCH F'IN FUN!!!!! I had that thing doing rear wheel and two wheel slides all over the place on the leaves, grass AND pavement. We have a little circle in my driveway that would make for some awesome pitbike races!

KB, I agree on the timing, if it was lean all the time then it wouldn't run this good down low without any timing advance. I will also check the cam position, I may be off 1 tooth. Either way it's a ten minute fix, I should be golden.

Louden is gunna be a HELL of a lot more fun now that I got my own pit bike that is pretty damn fast. She's got a 5 speed and everything! I opened her up on the street and was impressed on the top end, even running the way she does. At least 45-50mph. That should get me into ample trouble.

If only my racebike was that fast.....
