clip-ons


does any one know if a clip-on made for a 43mm inverted fork will fit a 43mm standard fork. sounds stupid but i don't really want spend alot of money on something that don't work. thanks

it should- as long as the fork is not tapered near the top triple where it would mount

i agree with Biggity.... 43mm is 43mm wether it's on an inverted fork or not.

Measure it for real with a caliper if its 43 then yes it will

Usually when they talk about diameters they are refering to the male portion of the fork only {steel}. The female part is usually larger for obvious reasons. Definately measure first. I know some of the USD types have varied diameters on the female section, even more reason to measure first.

Yeah but the only way to really make sure 43 = 43 is to have
your tongue hanging out of the corner of your mouth when taking
the measurement.

agreed. i'll be surprised if they fit... usually the above is how they're measured and 43mm inverted forks require larger clipons...

measure first. probably don't need to be too precise. if the above statement is correct it'll be off by more than a few mm.

yea that is confirmed, 43 mm inverted=50mm where the clip-ons bolt to.
talked to pete and he said it was so.

sorry to say alternate wednesdays don't count either
