Another Peter Kates wannabe

"the bike spat the rider off, hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames"

Wow... whatever he said to the bike, sure pissed it off. If it was Boss Hogg, I bet he called the bike a pussy.

You don't get to live on the island of Jersey unless you are loaded with cash. I'm betting the rider wasn't that concerned. I spent a couple of summers over there, cool place. Great roads.

derek

Tow it to Peters garage. He can freshen up that suspension pretty fast and Ill start with the rough compound on the body work. It will be back together in no time.

I got drunk with a couple blokes from Jersey a couple years ago. Just bumped into them at TT's. One was wearing a KTM jersey. They both claimed to have quite the collection of rare, expensive bikes. Cool guys, I didn't get the impression that they were B-S-ing.

There was a guy on the 675 forums from the island who only had a 675 for a few months. He had a MV F4, KTM, and the 675. I think he sold the 675 after a long trip through europe for a GS. But he was for sure one of those guys who had the newest everything.

Coincidence?
