now how much time did you also spend wiping the salt off the exhaust headers, fairings, and underside of the bike?

The brakes arent overly impressive on the ZX, I'd say the FZR had the heads up there, but then again, I have yet to bleed the lines, and there are new rotors and pads going on next week, so should be able to say then. Other than that, the only comparison I can make between the FZR and the ZX is that they both have 2 wheels and a motor.........

Unbelievable...

We get less than 2 inches TOTAL from Nov 1 - Jan 31. Now that I'm set to bring my CBR to Peter for some much needed repairs and upgrades, it snows 4" or more and is supposed to be snow/rain/sleet/freezing rain the rest of the week.

Im gonna be putting new rotors and EBC HH pads on in the next week, it'll get the lines bled with fresh fluid when I do that as well. See if that does the trick.

Might have been my levers were a bit out of adjustment, and it wasnt like I was going to jump all over the front brakes with cold roads and cold tires anyways.

I managed 3 miles from my house to GMD to get work done.

Thanks again for the offer of the truck, Red. Peter was there late today, so he said to just swing by.

If you've got the $, get yourself a radial master from an '05-'06 model. You can get one on the cheap on ebay and they make for a nice upgrade. I put one on me racebike and the brake feel and feedback is like buttah.

The 03's were the first generation of the 6R to come with a radial master from the factory, along with the radial mounted calipers. Done and done.

Rotors and pads are on, bling bling.

Bada-bing.

Rotors look sweet!!

And the right tires, too!

I shot home after work and mounted the new gel seat for the Strom. A quick 10 miles to the bank and back before it got dark and frozen. Just felt great to get out!

...Have a good season all.
