that's exactly it. i don't understand (well i do) but hte fucker in the truck(actually), stop by and tell the cop it was us that just pass him. i think i heard the cop mention something about the truck driver was willing to go testify in court. wow!

Make him testify then. Alot of people are talk until it comes time to actually do it. Was there a passing zone before you passed him where there wasnt. Maybe you made a legal pass and the guy just has a thing against motorcycles.

You need to FIGHT IT. That truck driver will never show... and even if he does it's his word against yours.

What does he have to gain? Nothing.

i think i already made a booboo. there was a second cop whos really really cool which i umm... . he said we shouldn't have to pay. the first cop gave us teh ticket.

That's odd you got a ticket. When I was in highschool I got pulled over at least 4 or 5 times for people calling the cops, but once they found me there was nothing they could do since they didnt see it. They would just say we got a report of blah blah blah, slow it down and be careful.

Anything you say WILL be used against you in a court of law. No one just wants to know what happened they want your money and to f you up.

Note there is a small chance that the rat out pick up driver was an off duty leo but you probably would have heard some official status if true.

Check if there was a legal passing zone within 2 to 3 miles... that's where it happened.
