leather glove repair

anybody know of a place where I could get my glove repaired? As you can see, the tip of the ring finger opened up when I crashed at VIR.

hmmm

Dude, just get some thread a thin/strong needle, a thimble and sew the shit back together. If it only separated the stitching, no need to pay someone ta do it. unless of course, the pad of the finger portion was torn away

I have a sewing machine and thought about doing it myself but I don't know what kind of string to use.

My mom actually said take it to a shoe place I had no idea they could fix it though. Off to the cobbler it is.

leather glove repair

Good thread, I blew out the pinky finger on my 4 day old A* GP-Plus's, stitching tore right out, leather still looks brandy new.

Mental note: Not as impressed with the 2006 GP-Plus's in comparison to my 2005's.

These gloves were on backorder forever. I hope they didn't just slap them together. Others seem to be impressed with them but I'd rather have the stiching on the inside. So what if it is more uncomfortable at least it would be less prone to coming undone.

My next gloves will be something better I hope.

So I dropped the glove off today at a shoe repair place. The guy looked at me like I had two heads. He was trying to convince me that you need a special machine to sew it (a sewing machine perhaps? lol). It should be interesting to see what it looks like when I pick it up tomorrow.
