I know a couple people that use that header trick. I've never trusted it. Thats a lot of stress on exhaust tubing that gets brittle over time.

+1 for proper front stand man.

the trapeze is the safest way to lift a bike if you don't have the proper lift

infact I would trust a trapeze long before I would a bike/atv jack

yea, alot of the shops use the straps to hold it up. i was changing out my rear shock on my old zx7 about 4 years ago and forget to strap mine up. needless to say as soon as the rear spring was out the subframe was touching the swingarm.
