Don't listen to these stupid tough guys about taking care of it yourself. Have the cops deal with it, and put pressure on them to do so. FOX investigative and the newspapers will be a good way to put pressure on them to act, but don't use it as a threat. my 89 harley doesnt use a key to start it. The only key for my HD is on my waist at all times on my key ring. When I leave my Harley for more than 10ish minutes (dependant of where I am too), I lock the ignition and the forks. Now the gutless bitches have almost 600 lbs of awkward iron to lift into the back of a truck. When the ignition is unlocked, I dont even need the key to leave the house, unless I want to put gas in, for which the fuel fill still has a key cylinder to pop it open. As far as getting your helmet stolen, you have more than enough ammo to get the cops to do something. Just be glad you have as much info as you do. If theres one thing more aggrevating than getting ripped off, its having absolutely no idea who did it.

Don't think it has much to do with being a tough guy, I mean after all this country was founded on being passive and giving up your $$, Posessions, and rights, with out a fight?
