another sneaky undercover trick

saw a Chevy Impala pulled over with white strobe flashers (nope, not blue) in Wellington Circle, Medford yesterday. now, an Impala may not be that surprising, but what was really funny was the dude had a "Question Authority" bumpersticker on the back!!! gotta give him credit for that one...

another sneaky undercover trick

Saw someone pulled over in Hadley yesterday by a dark blue Explorer with strobes (blue and white) hidden in the grill and tinted rear window. No spotlight or anything, just one little antenna on the roof. Tricky tricky.

Not that anyone will be speeding on Rt-9 with the construction coming up

Anyone worried they're becoming TOO undercover? I mean, some of these cars look like street cars with 20 dollar AutoZone lights in the grill. Anyone could be doing that, especially now that theyve moved away from just crown vics and stuff. If one of those tried to pull me over in some isolated spot, Id question pulling over. I cant even imagine if a younger female was caught by one of those in some quiet spot.

If you are pulled over by an unmarked vehicle you have the right to request a marked cruiser to come to the scene. If you are a lone female, roll the window down just enough to pass your information out the window and tell them that you want a marked car, if they give you a hard time, call 911 and tell them the situation.

Well I was being a little sarcastic about me not pulling over. But if a lone female is pulled over, even stopping enough and letting the window down enough to give your information isnt exactly safe if its some pyscho pervert on the other side of the window. I just think some standards should be met to make it more difficult for people to impersonate cops. I dont have any suggestions how to do this and keep the undercover cop thing going, but really, is having an undercover patrol cop absoultely necessary? Do they honestly catch more people speeding or comitting crimes than marked patrol cars?
