Ignition?

Hey I locke dthe ignition to my 03 sv650 and I can't seem to unlock it. I can go to park, but can't pass lock. I press down to go to start but it just won't pass.

I haven't gotten my owners manual yet, is there any certain way to do this???

Thanks

Sometimes you have to sort of push the key down a little bit to get it to turn. It's finicky...
