I'm so glad to see this issue being addressed, i have been frustrated and burned by this so many times over the years. who knows if it will get anywhere but it can't hurt to try or at least put the spotlight on it. We have been getting screwed for years as motorcyclists parking in the city and I cringe every time i see another bike getting ticketed, let along getting plenty myself over the years. I will sign this and pass it along, thanks for the heads-up.

There was actually a letter to the mayor in yesterday's Metro.

The writer asked why motorcycles were being ticketed around the city for parking where they usually did.

Mumbles merely stated that bikes don't have any special privileges or parking spaces and should be parking parallel and in metered and legal spaces.

I always park in the garages. I know Haymarket and one near Ashburton Place don't charge bikes to park. The guys who work at the place near Ashburton just told me to go out the monthly exit and go around the gate. They said nobody cared.

I've been doing it for a year now with no consequences...
