You always have to have your registration with you. I keep it folded up in my wallet.

Yes, it's suppose to be on the bike when you ride, just like with a car. I usually have mine in the same plastic baggy that my owner's manual is in. It's on the bike at all times.

You'll need to present it in the unlikely event that you're ever pulled over. If you don't have it, you can and will most likely be fined for not having it on you.

Keep it somewhere and in something that you will ALWAYS have with you when you ride. I even carry proof of insurance as another proof of ownership

You shouldn't need proof of insurance if you're a MA owner. It's written on the registration who you're insured through.

i laminated my reg for my car once and the cop went from nice and cool to "i'm gonna throw your ass in jail" mad. I haven't heard/seen any hard proof on that subject but my reg is kept on me next to my license in my wallet.

you can keep it on your bike but in the event it gets stolen the thieves will know your address.

For my last bike I kept it in my wallet and it took a beating. I recently purchased a ZX-11 and it has this neat glove compartment in the left front fairing that's perfect. I fold it twice and it's a neat little rectagle that's never touched. I love that feature about my bike.

and yes, you ALWAYS need to carry your registration on you.
