A bud of mine lost his Daughter (. A bunch of kids in a PU kids in the back & drinking she was in the back to (. Well the kid flipped the truck & killed his girl(. Then got a slap on the wrist . He had to move he wanted to kill the kid.

I agree...the operator has all the responsibility, morally and legally. HE was the operator. HE has the key. HE let the passenger on...it was up to him to decide whether to ride with her on the back or not. She didnt put a gun to his head, now did she? The operator always has the last say, no matter what. Clear cut case of his stupidity in drinking and driving, no license, etc. Her mistake was in not understanding all this, putting two and two together, and ultimately making a bad decision to get on. He'll probably get some "community hours" and a suspended sentence for all the damage he has done to the families. If anyone deserved to die, it was him. Why is it that these fuckers always seem to survive these accidents, while others die because of assholes like this one?

I had a 14 year old daughter that used to sneak out of the house at midnight
and come back in at 5 or 6 in the morning. She did this off and on for several years.

I only found out about it when she was 27 and she would laugh at pulling the wool over our eyes.

Don't blame the parents until you have been there yourself.
