motorcycle table lift.

Looking to pick up the table-style motorcycle lift... I see them range from $500 to $3000... anybody have experience with lower costs lifts that work and stabilize the bike well?

I have an EazyRizer

nothing is more stable, has some advantages over a table, easier access, and disadvantages, no table to rest your tools on.

best price on one is here

I got turned on to the EazyRizer by a friend that works at Rokon, they use the EazyRizer as a manufacturing platform

Incidentally, most after-market thin-wall stainless steel and titanium systems are actually stronger than their chromium plated, mild steel counterparts.
do you have any experience with a Ti exh?

I got one thru RandyO and will repeat what he said.

I bought the Ducati attachments from Bike Lift| Bike Lifts from On-Bike.com

This has a mount that rests on the front cylinder under the exhaust and
the other mount holds onto the rearsets.

You cannot knock it over and with the variety of mounts I now have, you can work on 4 wheelers, just about every kind of bike out there.

If you get it from Rokon, you will get one of the original packages that already
have over a half dozen mounts. All you need to order is the footpeg mounts and the CM-VT Ducati front cylinder mount for SV's and Duc's.
If you get it from Driven Gear or Bike Lift, all you get is one set of mounts and at 85 bucks a set ... that adds up real fast.

It is an incredible feat of engineering ... impossible to tip over and even
more access than a table.

If you are close to Nashua, I can show you mine and how it works.

so far none with the "table"

I could just get a buddy to weld up an aluminum platform, but I think the lift feature would be nice... I work on bikes a lot, and need it to save my back when working.

I love my table, but it's a very simple one. Aluminum top with frame... and 6 legs that screw into it. (unscrew the legs and the table stores flat)

I use a plank to get bike up and down.

I designed and had my first one built. Gave that to a friend.

The one I have now was made by someone else... but he doesn't make them anymore.

You can stop by and see it... and probably have one built... or build it yourself if you can weld?

The one posted above is very similar to the one I had built.

I'm not sure which one I like better. The one I use now has removable legs, so they could get lost.

But since they screw into the platform, you can also adjust for small fluctuations in the ground.

For that price above, though... I'd probably just buy one of those.

the nie thing about an eazyrizer is that you have several oprions on lifting the bike depending on what work your doing,

if your not taking wheels off, lifting with the wheel hoops is simple

you can use a front hoop and footpeg mounts

or the rear hoop and the sport v-twin front mount

or the standard beam mounts, you can secure it with the sidestand, or with the footpeg mounts

OR you can easily fabricate your own specialty mounts

first time you use it, you have to fuss with it learning how to adjust the mounts to your particular bike, but after that, it's tit

it's so much more versitile than a table

I use a cordless electric drill to do the actual lifting
