Michelin HI-Sport Tires, looking for feedbackI have a Michelin HI-Sport (TX15 Race3) front tire for my track bike, has anyone had experience with them. Are they stickier than pilot sports? Thanks Clive |

Michelin HI-Sport Tires, looking for feedbackThe TX family of race tires is mid-90's technology. They were outstanding DOT's in their day, and were very good wet weather tires. The Race Three was a soft compound tire. In the summer heat, it will not last long. The Pilot Sport was a pure street tire that could race in a pinch. It will last much longer over a much wider temp range than that TX15. |

Michelin HI-Sport Tires, looking for feedbackYou got yourself a nice old tire there. I'm guessing from your post that you have a TX front and and Pilot Sport on the rear. I'd recommend that if you are doing track time with that bike that you get to....nay, RUN to your local dealer and upgrade to Pilot Powers (for track days) or Pilot Power race for racing immediately. |
