GSXR 06+ Mirror Question

The new GSXR models which have mirrors w/ the integrated turn signals...do the mirror 'arms' pivot at the mounting point or no? Meaning can they fold in like most mirrors?

Thanks!!

I can't budge them at all w/ my hands (e.g. mirrors in my hands, not installed). I'm fabbing up a bracket to get them on my TL and I needed to know if they fold (affects placement).

No doubt. Aftermarket stalk and flush mounts don't work well on the TL (and usually not very bright). The GSXR turn signal plugs right into the TL's harness.

GSXR 06+ Mirror Question

KillBill - I didn't realize the mirrors had hard stops every 90*. They fold in, but they are not meant to sit at any angle other than 0, 90, 180 or 270. It really made my job tough trying to get the rear view to work right. As you can see below, I ended up mounting them w/ the foot turned 90*...ended up workin out real well actually.

Anyways, he's what I did. Not too shabby. For the TL guys who want more info and pix, check out TLZone (the site is down for maintenance right now, but I'll be posting once its back up).
